AEnhancers #02After Effects Expressions, Scripts and Presets
AE Enhancers (or AENHANCERS.com), is a collection of over 850 different animators and compositors from all over the world who use Adobe After Effects to write special scripts, expressions, and presets for the AE community. Not only do they answer questions and provide demonstrations how they've found new uses for features, but many times, the authors will provide the scripts and code for all. Many people ask about how to start - well, here's where.
One of the common questions about scripting is where to start. Alex, Paul, Stu, Mark, Lloyd, and a team too long to list, full of knowledgeable code warriors and brilliant animators, are pumping out more daily than you can imagine. With a massive library of archived tutorials, AEnhancers.com is one of the first places to start your education.
Aenhancers not only has script discussions, and messages from contributors who will help you build scripts, but also houses cut-and-paste content, which members have posted for you to freely use. This week, Mike Cardeiro shares his spelling script with the English speaking Ae world. A spell checker to help not only those whose fingers don't type well, but also to catch any typos that producers and writers may have passed on to us.
Now that one of Aenhancer's founder, and submission leaders is here in Los Angeles, we will try to integrate some advanced discussions at our monthly MGLA (Motion Graphics Los Angeles) meetings.
