ABiSee Is Set to Break Boundaries With Their "Talking CCTV," Eye-Pal Vision

(March 10, 2011)

ACTON, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/10/11 -- ABiSee, Inc. has been recognized as the leading innovator in the field of Assistive Reading technology since they introduced Zoom-Ex, the first portable instant reading machine, in 2006. ABiSee announced today that they will be demonstrating their newest breakthrough at CSUN 2011, the 26th Annual International Technology & Persons with Disabilities Conference taking place at San Diego's Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel on March 16-19, 2011 (booth 911-913).

Eye-Pal Vision, the first "Talking CCTV" based upon the popular Eye-Pal Solo technology, operates as a stand-alone electronic magnifier that does not require a computer. It can magnify as a CCTV up to 40 times, as well as read fine print aloud, which is invaluable for users who want to read mail, books, and directions on packages or warnings on medicine bottles. There are no other products for the visually impaired on the market that can do both. To make the Eye-Pal Vision even more convenient for its users, ABiSee has engineered it to work with a 19" flat-screen monitor or with a standard TV instead of requiring a dedicated monitor.

Leon Reznik, co-founder of ABiSee, Inc., was quoted as saying, "ABiSee is determined to be the leader in assistive products for the visually impaired. Thanks to the creativity and vision of ABiSee's outstanding engineers, Zoom-Ex, the reader/scanner machine we introduced five years ago, has grown into the first ever 'Talking CCTV.'"

Igor Feinberg, Director of Business Development for ABiSee, Inc., will present "Showcasing Zoom-Ex on MAC" at CSUN on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 4:20pm. Mr. Feinberg will be demonstrating ABiSee's new software product that allows the electronic scanner/reader Zoom-Ex to work on Macintosh computers.
