@Last Ships SketchUp 3.03D design tool gets new export formats, enhanced modeling tools
SketchUp is a complement to existing AEC tools, designed to provide tools for quick conceptualization, creation and modification of 3D elements. According to @Last, version 3.0 includes enhancements to dimensions and annotations; smoothed faces and soft edges; and material transparency. It also offers animation export in AVI and QuickTime formats, as well as VRML. And it adds filled polygon vector output in EPS and PDF formats. (The software already supports a number of raster and vector formats, including PDF, PSD, PICT, EPS, TGA, SGI and BMP, as well as DWG, DXF and 3DS formats.)
