NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 07/23/12 -- 33Across, operators of the largest social and interest graph in the world, reaching over a billion users globally, today announced it has hired Michael Agostino as its new Chief Technology Officer. Michael joins 33Across with over 20 years of experience in the technology industry spanning research and development, software development, product management, executive management, venture capital, and entrepreneurship. "Michael's success as both a product innovator and team leader over the past two decades is incredible," said Eric Wheeler, CEO of 33Across. "His experience leading engineering organizations on a diverse range of Internet-based products and services -- across search, mobile e-commerce, and contextual advertising -- will be invaluable in our ongoing effort to build groundbreaking and proprietary technology."
Prior to Idealab, Michael served as CTO of Snap Technologies, a Mayfield/Idealab backed contextual-advertising technology start up.
