Military: 3 US soldiers killed in Afghanistan attack were from Ohio; several others wounded By The Associated Press

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) ' The U.S. Department of Defense has identified the remaining two soldiers from Ohio killed in a suicide attack this week in Afghanistan.

The victims are 36-year-old Capt. Nicholas J. Rozanski of Dublin and 45-year-old Sgt. 1st Class Jeffrey J. Rieck of Columbus. The name of 44-year-old Sgt. 1st Class Shawn T. Hannon of Grove City was made public earlier.

The soldiers were killed in an attack by a suicide bomber on a motorcycle Wednesday in Maimanah, the capital of Faryab province. At least 13 people died.

The Taliban has claimed responsibility. The bomber's target was unclear.

The soldiers were from the Ohio National Guard's 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. The Guard says the brigade is based in Columbus but includes soldiers from across Ohio.
