3 people shot, wounded in Minn. courthouse attackState official: 3 people wounded in shooting at northern Minn. courthouse; suspect in custody
GRAND MARAIS, Minn. (AP) ' Authorities say a shooting at a northern Minnesota courthouse has injured three people, and a suspect is in custody.
State Public Safety spokesman Doug Neville says the three were shot Thursday afternoon at the Cook County Courthouse in Grand Marais (muh-RAY'), a town about 110 miles northeast of Duluth.
Neville says a suspect has been arrested, though no details have been released about the suspect or the victims. Neville also didn't immediately know what may have led to the shootings.
He says two of victims are being treated at a local hospital, while the third has been taken to Duluth.
Grand Marais is a town of about 1,300 residents along the shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota's far northeastern tip, near the Canadian border.
