11:11 MediaworksBy my watch, it's been a long time
Since those early days, Roger and his crew at 11:11 MediaWorks (www.1111mw.com) have evolved into a full service design and effects studio. Still located in Van Nuys, California, 11:11 MediaWorks has worked on several feature film, television, commercial, music video and interactive projects. Roger continues to work with MAXON's CINEMA 4D software to produce 3D animations for clients and Adobe's After Effects to complete 2D composites.
Far from the simple donkey, some of 11:11 MediaWorks recent projects include "Van Wilder II: The Rise of Taj", "Eragon", "Blood Diamond", "The Omen", and several other major features.
If you missed the old Donkey tutorial (which made an appearance in the earlier documentation, and can be found online (albeit in German), the following pages are a look back in time. MAXON's CINEMA 4D is SOOOOOOO much easier to use now.
ON THE FOLLOWING PAGES YOU'LL FIND ROGER'S ORIGINAL TUTORIAL FOR THE DONKEY
(COMPLETED IN CINEMA 4D VERSION 5!)
You won't be able to follow along with this tutorial (unless you have a very old version of the software), it appears only for preservation (and perpetuation) of the document many of us learned to model by.
As part of a a new challenge, I would like to see C4D users rebuild parts of this same tutorial to bring it up to date. If you're part of the DMO BlogZone, you can upload and share images and movies.
