Umax Gives Away Photoshop 6 with High-End Scanners
Free upgrade for some 5.5 bundle purchasers

Umax has started bundling the full version of Adobe Photoshop 6 with several of its high-end scanners. Umax had previously offered Photoshop 5.5 with some of its scanners. Those who purchase one of those bundle deals between Aug. 28 and Jan. 31 will be eligible for a free upgrade to Photoshop 6. New Umax models in the PowerLook series will be bundled with Photoshop 6 immediately.

Photoshop 6 will be included in the following Umax scanner bundle packages:

• PowerLook III with Design Mac bundle ($999)
• PowerLook III with Pro Design Mac bundle ($1,399)
• PowerLook 1100 with Design Mac bundle ($1,199)
• PowerLook 1100 with Pro Design Mac bundle ($1,599)
• PowerLook 2100XL with Design Mac bundle ($1,599)
• PowerLook 2100XL with Pro Design Mac bundle ($1,999)
• PowerLook 3000 with Pro Design Mac bundle ($6,999)

The upgrade CD and printed manual are available by calling Adobe at 800-492-3623. Customers must provide their Photoshop 5.5 serial number, along with photocopies of the Photoshop 5.5 CD and the original purchase receipt. A $10.50 delivery charge will apply for U.S. delivery. All requests must be received by Feb. 15 and will require two to four weeks for processing.
