Beatware Releases eZ-Motion
Web animator imports models, exports Flash

Beatware today announced the release of eZ-Motion for the Mac. The program features a mix of tools for creating animation for the Web and offers integration with Adobe GoLive and Macromedia Dreamweaver. eZ-Motion can import anything from a Photoshop file to a model created in Lightwave, then allows users to animate it and export it in a variety of Web formats. Among this program's list of features, it can extrude text and animate it along a path, as well as animate its rotation, lighting, coloring, shading, size and extrusion.

It can also animate filters and effects over time, including oilify, blur, color balance, brightness, color limit, contrast, grayscale, replace, rotate, zoom, vortex, wave, invert, maximum, minimum, noise, mosaic, crystallize, edge detection, solarize, sharpen, emboss, bevel, shadow and glow.

Other features include:

  • Ability to import Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightwave, 3D Studio Max, Quicktime, Windows Media, DXF, AVI, JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF and others;
  • Ability to export to Flash, SVG, QuickTime, Windows Media, RealVideo, Animated GIF, JPEG, GIF, PNG and others;
  • Integration with Adobe GoLive, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Microsoft FrontPage;
  • Animation editor;
  • Edits and combines bitmapped and vector graphics;
  • Animates text on a path;
  • Animates effects and filters;
  • Animates properties such as color and opacity;
  • Preview Creations;
  • Side by side comparison of compression formats and file sizes.
