EventStream Commands
There are many interactive
commands that can be programmed in streaming media content. These commands
are dependent on the streaming formats (QuickTime, RealSystems, WindowsMedia)
employed. They include:
- In
point The starting frame of a movie.
- Keyframe
One or more manually specified keyframes for the movie.
- Out
point
The ending frame of a movie.
- Poster
Frame A representative static image from your video that
is shown before playback.
- Chapter
Text indicating chapter name that is used for navigation through your
program.
- Go
To Time
Jumps to a different point in the movie.
- Go
To Marker
Jumps to a different "Chapter" marker in the movie.
- Open
URL
Instructs a Web browser to open a URL and target. You can use this to
syncronize a set of slides or text on a web page to your video presentation.
- Pause
The movie can pause at various points, usually in concert with a "hotspot"
trigger.
- Play
A movie that is paused may be started to play again.
- Replace
Movie Specifies a URL for a new movie to start at a certain
time. Allows for chaining of separate movies.
- Hot
Spot Links to a shape on the video and maintains start and
end times, and up to 10 associated actions.
