AVerMedia Mac to TV Converters on the Way
iAVerKey 300 DV designed for iMac

AVerMedia Technologies says its new iAVerKey 300 DV Mac to TV scan converter is on its way to retailers and should be available for purchase within the next few days. According to the company, this high-resolution (1,280 x 1,024) scan converter is optimized to work with the iMac DV and Power Mac G3 and G4 computers.

The iAVerKey 300 DV is targeted toward the presentation market, such as educators, trainers and salespeople. It includes a wireless remote control for accessing the device's functions and can handle up to 16.7 million colors. It also comes with an AVerMedia Pointer; SpyLight and Spot; regular zoom and pan functions; seven-level flicker filter; and the AVerMedia Area, Spot and Pointer zooms. In addition, it has a simultaneous display feature, full screen underscan/overscan and picture positioning capabilities. Other features include:

  • No software drivers required.
  • Touch-button control panel.
  • Screen freeze and unfreeze.
  • TV brightness control.
  • Independent linear adjustment for horizontal and vertical scales.
  • Ability to record presentations to VCR.
