Sonnet Reduces G3 Upgrade Prices

Sonnet Technologies is lowering the prices on all of its G3 processor upgrades, some by as much as 20 percent. The Crescendo PCI upgrades now range in price from $179.95 to $299.95. The new pricing schemes are as follows:

Crescendo line is compatible with Power Mac 7300, 7500, 7600, 8500, 8515, 8600,
9500, 9515, 9600, Workgroup Server 7350, 8550, 9650; Power Computing PowerCenter,
PowerCenter Pro, PowerCurve, PowerTower, PowerTower Pro, PowerWave; UMAX J700/S900;
DayStar Genesis 360, 400, 528, 600, 720, 800, 900, 932; and the Mactell XB-Pro.
The following price reductions reflect changes in the G3/L2 class of processor upgrades:

The G3/L2 400 is compatible with Power Mac 4400, 5400, 5500, 6400, 6500, 7220; Performa 54XX, 6360, 64XX; 20th Anniversary Mac; StarMax 3000, 4000, 5000, 5500; Power Computing PowerBase; and UMAX C500, C600. The G3/L2 500 is only compatible with Power Mac 5500, 6500 and 20th Anniversary Macs.
