Corel Ships KnockOut 1.5
New version adds precision color selection capabilities

Corel Corp. today announced the availability of KnockOut 1.5 for Macintosh. The new version of this masking application includes a new loupe zoom to magnify selections and the ability to verify mask accuracy by changing the underlying color or inserting another image. It also includes a new syringe tool that can amplify background colors for more accurate color selection. Other features include:

• Inside and outside object tools for creating selection lines that define the interior and background colors of a foreground object's transition area.
• Pushpin and tweezer tools to access areas too small to select manually.
• Inside and outside shadow tools for creating selection lines that define the inner and outer boundaries of shadows.
• Inside and outside syringe tools.
• Edge and shadow edge feather tools for creating edge transitions where the foreground and background colors are too similar to be differentiated.

Corel KnockOut 1.5 is available for $279.99. Registered users of CorelDRAW, Corel PHOTO-PAINT or Corel VENTURA are eligible for a $50 rebate when they buy Corel KnockOut 1.5 with proof of purchase.
