The SnapScan 1236u ships with Agfa's ScanWise software, which features automatic processing. This feature automatically finds originals on the scanbed; rotates them if they're misaligned; checks whether they're text, color or black/white; and then scans them all. Other features include:

  • Integrated Agfa color management;
  • Auto-dispatching, which checks for programs are installed on your computer and then scans directly into them;
  • Multi-lingual Interface—Dutch, international English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

The scanner requires a minimum G3 processor, 32 MB RAM, Mac OS System 8.0 and a CD-ROM drive. For more information, visit http://www.agfa.com. To go directly to the scanner page, visit http://www.agfahome.com/product/CatProd_DisplayPublic.html?id=116&object=Category.
