Ricoh Updates Imaging Systems
350e,
450e get RAM, hard disk boosts

Ricoh
has updated its line of Aficio digital imaging systems with the introduction
of the Aficio 350e and 450eboth enhanced versions of existing 350
and 450 models. The new versions sport base configurations of 20 MB RAM,
4 GB hard disk space and 600 DPI scanning resolution.
The new systems also add network scanning capabilities and faxing from
the desktop over a network.
The 350e offers network printing
speeds of 35 pages per minute, while the 450e prints at 45 PPM. Support
is standard for PCL6/5e with an option for Adobe Postscript3. Enhancements
allow for duplex printing, digital sorting, file archiving and image rotation.
Booklet printing and collation and stapling can be handled from the desktop.
Other enhancements include:
- A Super G3, 33.6 Kbps modem;
- Digital Fax option;
- Two-sided jobs up to 11"
x 17";
- Two 500-sheet paper trays
and an additional 50-sheet bypass;
- Multiple-position stapling
and optional three-hole punch capabilities on the 450e with the SR730
Finisher option.
