Both offer 1 MB backside cache with a bus running at 225 MHz. Both will be available for $849. The MAXpowr upgrade supports Apple Power Macintosh 7300 through 9600; the power Computing Power Tower pro and Power Wave; and the Umax J700 and S900. The MAXpowr G4 ZIF 450 MHz upgrade supports G3 systemsÑboth beige and blue and white models—and G4 systems.

Users can save $100 on 350 MHz models and $130 400 MHz models for 604 Macs and $80 on 400 MHz G4 upgrades for Power Mac G3 systems (beige and blue and white). The company has also lowered the price of its FireWire 2 Go PC CardBus adapter for PowerBook G3s by $20 to $119.
