Final Cut Pro 1.2.5 will be available next month as a free download to registered users of Final Cut Pro. The full version will retail for $999. Apple also made two other significant announcements at a press conference this morning, including high definition on the desktop with Pinacle, real-time DVEs and dual-stream uncompressed video with Matrox and an acquisition (Astarte) in the DVD space.
