On the G3 side, XLR8 has dropped its 300 MHz upgrade card. The 333 MHz model, priced at $389, is now the entry-level model. It includes 1 MB backside cache running at 222 MHz. The MACh Speed G3 400 MHz model, with 1 MB backside cache running at 200 MHz, is priced at $449. On the G4 side, the XLR8 has reduced prices on several upgrades for older Macs, as well as newer G3s and G4s. The following changes apply to older Mac OS models, including Apple Power Macintosh 7300 to 9600, UMAX J700/S900, Power Computing PowerWave and PowerTower Pro, Daystar Genesis 720 and up and Millennium:
