TripleD Releases Steamroller for Electric Image

Inc. has released Anvil Steamroller, a texture plugin for the Electric
Image 3D Animation System from Play Inc.
Anvil Steamroller was released in conjunction with Digital Motion Studios.
The
software features several template settings, including transformation,
projection and image. These allow the user to control alignment, position,
rotation, projection type, scaling, radius, wrap settings and band angle.
Other Anvil Steamroller features include:
- Templates for planar, cylindrical and spherical maps;
- A plugin designed specifically for Electric Image;
- Generates multiple-layer Photoshop files with different template information on each layer;
- Complete preview information;
- Extensive use of hardware-accelerated OpenGL.
TripleD also publishes Power Particles 1.5, A_G Shaders, aFraktal, Anvil Replicant and xSpline. Anvil Steamroller is currently shipping and is available for $99 through March 22. After March 22, the price will be $129. It is compatible with Electric Image versions 2.9 and higher and requires OpenGL 1.1.2 or later and an image-editing application that can read multi-layer Photoshop files, such as Photoshop.
