As you can see from this photographic evidence, I am not, contrary to popular opinion, a big, fat, ugly jerk. I am, rather, a well chiseled, sexy, fun-loving non-jerk. I often like to slip on a pair of bicycle shorts and just stare at myself in the mirror. But that's not the point. You might have noticed that this image has been doctored a bit. Actually, I have to admit that it's true. See that glass on top of my Apple Studio Monitor? Well, I put that glass in the picture using Photoshop. I don't actually drink froo-froo beverages like that, but I thought it would add a nice touch.
If, however, I were to create an image like this from scratch, I'd probably just paste my head on top of somebody else's body. I might even select the highlights on that other person's face, feather the selection by five pixels and paste it onto my own face to make it look like the same lighting. Then I'd paste in some pictures of a monitor, keyboard and G4, use KPT 6 Lens Flare to achieve the green glow and put it all on top of a clip art image of a palatial study. Fortunately I didn't have to do all that. That would just be too much work.
