Beyond the PageMaker Plug-in Pack, for those worried about the learning curve involved in switching from PageMaker to InDesign, Adobe is including training materials geared specifically toward you. This includes video training materials from Total Training, tutorials and an online help system with topics designed for those moving from PageMaker to InDesign. Adobe is previewing the new InDesign CS PageMaker Edition this week at the Macworld conference in San Francisco and will launch the product this quarter. For those migrating from PageMaker to InDesign CS, the full package will run $349 for Mac OS X and Windows. (InDesign CS sells for $699 regularly.) Users of InDesign can also purchase and download the PageMaker Plug-in Pack for $49 without the need for a registered version of PageMaker. The Plug-in Pack will also be incorporated into InDesign CS, and those who purchased InDesign within 30 days of this announcement are eligible for an upgrade. We'll bring you more details in our formal review of InDesign CS in the near future. For more information, visit http://www.adobe.com.
