NOVEMBER 03, 2003 Weekly Download: Illustrator Brushes, Series 5  For our fifth series of brushes for Adobe Illustrator, we're changing things up a bit. This time around, rather than presenting a collection of wet brush strokes--as with all of our previous Illustrator brushes--we're offering a collection of thinner wet strokes, along with a fairly large number of textured pencil tips.Our collection of brushes this week includes 20 brush tips, 15 of which are textured pencil tips using the Scatter Brush mode, and five of which are thing, wet strokes using the Art Brush mode. Each of the brushes is 12 pixels wide or smaller and can be reduced or enlarged by changing the stroke weight of your object. (Note that custom brushes are can be modified by changing the point width of the stroke. a point size of 1 with a custom brush translates as a 100 percent stroke width; a brush weight of 2 points translates as 200 percent; etc.) The brushes can also be colorized as you see fit.[an error occurred while processing this directive]Here's a sampling of the brushes in this week's collection, applied at their default sizes on outline text.
