With the Highlight value, the same rules apply, so there's no need to go into those. The next parameter down, Color Correction allows you to make the colors in the corrected regions more or less vivid. (On grayscale images, a Brightness adjustment is available instead.) The examples below show varying degrees of Color Correction. The default is +20, which you've seen in all of the previous images. (All of the examples below use Shadow and Tonal Width values of 100 and a Radius of 30.)

[an error occurred while processing this directive]And then there's the Midtone Contrast setting for finer control of your image's contrast only in the areas that are affected by your Shadow/Highlight adjustment. (All of the examples below use Shadow value of 100, a Tonal Width value of 50, a Radius of 30 and the default Color Correction value of +20.)



Finally, Shadow/Highlight also allows you to se the Clip values of the highlights and shadows. This simply indicates the range of light or dark values that will be shifted to the new black and white values set by your adjustments.
