NTI Ships Dragon Burn 3 for Mac OS X
DVD and CD burning software gains enhanced features, performance, stability

NewTech Infosystems has announced a new version of Dragon Burn, a disc burning utility for Mac OS X. The new 3.0 release offers new performance, stability and feature enhancements and is available now for Mac OS X.

Dragon Burn is a disc-burning application for producing audio, data, MP3 and Enhanced CDs and DVDs. It includes a multi-burning engine that allows users to write multiple CDs or DVDs simultaneously and support for the latest high-speed CD and DVD burners, according to the company. AIt also now supports new DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW internal and external drives (USB 2.0 and FireWire) and 52x CD writers. New features include:

  • Dynamic Drive Support and Live Update (compatibility features);
  • Automated volume balancing across all tracks of an audio CD;
  • Ability to import iTunes playlists for burning audio CDs;
  • UDF 1.5 support;
  • Layout filtering for file management;
  • Multisession support (HFS, ISO and UDF);
  • Support for Gracenote CDDB.

Version 3.0 also ships with Discus label making software for designing and printing CD and DVD labels and jewel case inserts.
