Colorizing your image within the masked area
Now we just need to finish up by actually turning our elephant pink. There are several ways you can do this, but here's a quick and easy one.

1. In the menu above your canvas, set the background to "Source Image."

3. Over in your tool palette, switch from "Region Selection" to "Adjust." And, from the Type menu, choose "Chrom Bias/Gain Adjust" or simply "Hue Shift," if your image is suited for it.

4. Then just drag your cursor over the canvas until your subject becomes just the right shade of pink to satisfy your client. And the "Pink Elephant" campaign is underway!

Once last point: To save your image with your mask saved as an alpha, choose Edit > Set Canvas Alpha To > Current Region Selection. Then save your image in the Photoshop format. And you're done.

We'll cover more aspects of Studio Artist's region selection functions in future installments. If you have further questions, visit me in the Studio Artist forum here.
