 LaCie Announces 7,200 RPM Pocket Drive
Portable unit offers FIreWire, USB 2.0 connectivity

LaCie has introduced a new model in its line of portable Pocket Drives. The new model offers a 7,200 RPM mechanism and is expected to be available in July.

The new Pocket Drive offers a 60 GB capacity with a 7,200 RPM mechanism in a 2.5-inch drive. It's designed for portability, weighing in at 12.5 ounces and measuring 2.75" x 5.75" x 1". It also offers connectivity for FireWire and USB 2.0 and is bus-powered.
