You can also adjust the angle offset of your nibs using the Angle Offset parameter. This is a value in degrees. If you're using the 1D Fixed Config, for example, an Angle Offset of 0 (default) places the nibs one on top of the other in a horizontal stroke. A value of 90 shifts the arrangement at a right angle ... etc., etc. [an error occurred while processing this directive]The example on the left above uses an Angle Offset of 90 degrees, while the example on the right uses an offset of 0 degrees. (Both use the 1D Equal Space Config with an AngleTrack of Path Orient.)The last slider in the numerical bank is Weave Mod %. This tells Studio ARtist how much of a weave to place on your stroke, assuming you've selected a weave at all, which we'll get to below. And the rest There are but two parameters left for manipulating MultiPen brushes. The first one is Config Mod. This simply allows you to choose a method for modifying the Config of your MultiPen brush. The options are Pressure, Inv Pressure, Tilt, Inv Tilt and TiltOrient PushPull. The modifiers change, essentially, the configuration of your nibs interactively. The two 2D Box Configs, when modified, change over into 1D Dixed. And the 1D Fixed configs change into, essentially, 0D Configs, with a result similar to a spread modifier. Tricky? Well, the examples below show this in action. The top one is a modified 1D Random brush. The bottom is a 2D Box that comes together to look like a 1D Fixed brush as it progresses. ![]() Prev 1 2 3 4 5 Next Related sites: Animation Artist AV Video Creative Mac Digital Animators Digital Media Designer Digital Post Production Digital Producer Film and Video Magazine The WWUG Related forums: [an error occurred while processing this directive]
