I've had numerous requests for additional series of brushes for Creature House Expression 3 since the last release. Some want brushes that emulate natural media, while others are looking for more object-related brushes. Well, I'm not sure whether this series satisfies either, but here goes....

The brushes
This week I've decided to put together a collection of chain brushes--that is, brushes that reproduce links in chains as you draw your stroke. I've assembled a variety of chains with varying textures, as well as some variety in terms of end caps. Some simply continue on so that you can link them in a circular fashion, as with a necklace chain.[an error occurred while processing this directive]

While others end on closed links.



Here's a sampling of most of the textured chains available in this collection.



Of these, most fall into the size range of a 50-pixel width, though some go as high as 300 pixels. Each can be scaled to the desired size for heavier or more delicate effects. Of course, in order to use these brushes, you'll need to have a copy of Expression 3, which is available at http://www.creaturehouse.com.
