Download and installation
This week's collection is compressed using Stuffit from Aladdin Systems. The Stuffit Expander is a free utility for Macintosh, Linux, Windows and Solaris that can be downloaded here. Chances are you already have it on your system. If not, download and install it. You can also configure your browser to decompress files of the ".sit" type automatically using Expander.

Download: Nagel Series 1 Text Styles (204 KB)

Once you download the brush file (NagelSeries1TextStyles.sit), double-click the file to decompress it, or drag it over the Stuffit Expander application icon.[an error occurred while processing this directive]After the file is decompressed (NagelSeries1TextStyles.ai), move it into the following directory: Adobe Illustrator 10/Presets/Styles. WHen you've moved it, launch Illustrator, and choose Window > Style Libraries > NagelSeries1TextStyles.

This will open up a new palette containing the libraries.

To use the styles, type your text, then choose the Selection tool. (Note that these styles look best of large text. Effects may render smaller text illegible.) Click on the style of your choice to apply the style. If you want to modify a style, apply it, and then open up the Appearance window. Here, you can double-click any of the listed attributes to modify them.

That's all there is to it. If you have any questions, be sure to visit me in one of the forums listed below.
