If you make a RAM Preview you will notice that the motion is nice - the card comes spinning in to frame and then stops. At the precise moment when the spinning stops, the lottery ticket begins to scratch away to reveal the prize underneath. Luckily we pre-planned for that in the last exercise.

The only problem is the ticket seems to "slam" into the final resting position. This doesn’t look very natural, and is a bit unprofessional. It would be better if the ticket came to a gentle rest. [an error occurred while processing this directive]You can do this with the Easy Ease Keyframe Assistant. In the Timeline, draw a marquee around all of the keyframes.

Right+click on any of the selected keyframes and choose Keyframe Assistant>Easy Ease from the pop up menu.

Make another RAM Preview to view the results.

Let’s use the Fractal Noise effect to generate a pretty cool background.

Create a New Solid by pressing Command+Y on the Mac or Control+Y on the PC. Name the solid Background, set the width and height to 1000 pixels, and select a nice blue color from the color palette. Move the Background layer to the bottom of the Timeline stack.

From the Effect menu, select Render>Fractal Noise (Production Bundle only). Change the Noise Type to Block in the Effect Controls window, and the Transfer Mode to Add. In a few simple steps you have created a keen background for the composition.

While you could end the exercise here, a bit more effort will make the composition go from "Just Okay", to "Wow, that’s cool!".
