Andromeda RedEyePro
Red-eye reduction plugin for Adobe Photoshop

It seems to me that adding a slider to adjust the Constant value would not have caused Andromeda too much trouble, and it would have made this plugin much more valuable. Yes, you can go in and adjust the value manually after applying RedEyePro, but, then again, you can just as easily do the whole process manually. And, with more output adjustments, this plugin could be a more useful general color correction tool.

The bottom line
There's little to quibble about over any piece of software that sells for a scant $39. And RedEyePro does perform as advertised, for the most part. Nevertheless, I can't help but think that the plugin could have been taken to the next level by simply providing output options for the user in addition to input options. As it stands, using Photoshop's built-in Channel Mixer offers more flexibility. But RedEyePro is easy to use and does an excellent job with pure reds and can handle other colors fairly well, as long as they're not too light. But without any output options, I can't go any higher than a neutral recommendation on this software.[an error occurred while processing this directive]Andromeda RedEyePro is available now for Mac OS 9, Mac OS X and Windows for $39.
