OCTOBER 25, 2002 Weekly Download: More Custom Brushes for Photoshop 7 Response to our first series of brushes for Adobe Photoshop 7 was so positive that I couldn't help but create a second set. Rather than focusing on specific applicators, as I did in the previous series, this week I decided to create a set of 25 brushes (Nagel Series 2 Brushes) that hopefully do a decent job of emulating some of my favorite natural media: charcoal, chalk, conte crayon and wax crayon. In this collection, I've tried to create brushes that emulate natural media in a variety of uses, including edges, tips, sides and softer applications. If you don't find exactly what you need in this particular collection, it will be easy enough for you to modify these brushes to find the exact look you're trying to create. They will work on Windows and Macintosh versions, though you Windows users will need to download the free Aladdin Expander software to unstuff these brushes.
