Fuji today announced a $200 price drop on its FinePix 4800, 6800 and 6900 Zoom digital cameras. The FinePix cameras are targeted at the consumer market, though the 6000-series models offer a 3 megapixel resolution. The new prices are $499, $699 and $799, respectively.
The FinePix 6800 Zoom can interpolate images up to 6 megapixels, while the 4800 can interpolate up to 4.3 megapixels. They also include videoconferencing, image voice annotation, AVI video capture with sound, and audio recording features.
The FinePix 6900 Zoom is designed for "advanced amateurs," according to Fuji. It includes a 6x optical zoom lens and a range of professional-level controls, including manual focus options, shutter priority mode, five exposure modes and 13 f-stop aperture control settings, while also functioning as a traditional point-and-shoot camera.
All three cameras are currently available. FOr more information, visit http://www.fujifilm.com.
