Deneba Ships Canvas 8 Pro for Mac OS X
New release includes 'hundreds' of enhancements

Deneba Software has released Canvas 8 Professional Edition for Mac OS X. Canvas is a an illustration suite that also includes photo editing capabilities, as well as functionality for page layout, Web graphics and presentations. The company shipped Canvas 8 for Windows back in May.
Canvas 8 is compatible with Mac OS X and Mac OS 9. According to the company, the new version includes "hundreds" of enhancements and new features. These includes:- Vector and raster Sequence recording
- Support for AppleScript, ColorSync and QuickTime
- Customizable Web image slicing
- Direct Flash and PDF export capabilities.
Canvas 8 Professional Edition for Mac OS X sells for $399.95. Registered owners of competitive graphics products can purchase Canvas 8 for $249.95. Educational and corporate discounts are also available. Registered users of Canvas 7 for Macintosh can upgrade to Canvas 8 for Mac OS X for $129.95. Owners of previous versions can upgrade for $169.95. Upgrade pricing will change beginning in January 2002.
