Logitech Launches Dual Optical Mouse
Dual sensors offer 800 LPI resolution each
Logitech today introduced a new optical mouse for the Macintosh that the company says brings new levels of precision to its mouse lineup. The new MouseMan Dual Optical uses two optical sensors positioned at different angles to deliver increased precision on a broader range of surfaces, according to the company.
Each sensor provides a resolution of 800 lines per inch, twice that of previous sensors. The mouse has several of the same design features as Logitech's Cordless MouseMan Optical, including four buttons and a contoured form designed for the right hand. The four buttons are individually programmable via Logitech's iTouch software. The mouse is painted in an attractive metallic finish that is a stylish addition to any desktop.
The MouseMan Dual Optical will be available this month for $49.95. For more information, visit http://www.logitech.com.
