Sharp Announces 28" LCD Monitor
Widescreen model to sell for $17,000

Sharp
today announced it will begin shipping a new 28" widescreen LCD monitor
this month. The new model, the LC-28HM2, features widescreen high-definition
resolution and 1,280 x 768 component video inputs and provides viewing
for video sources from HDTV signals and DVDs to XGA, SVGA and VGA computers.
The LC-28HM2 measures 27.2" (W) by 18" (H) by 2.4" (D) and weighs less than 25 lbs. The monitor can be mounted onto a wall or set on a tabletop stand.
The 28" LC-28HM2 is an addition to Sharp's LCD video monitor line, which includes the LC-10A2UBP (10.4"), the LC-121M2U (12.1"), the LC-150M2U (15") and the LC-20VM2 (20"). The LC-10A2UBP, LC-121M2U, LC-150M2U and LC-20VM2 are currently available for $1,399, $1,595, $1,995 and $5,995, respectively.
