Fleksy’s IOS 8 Keyboard Offers Plenty Of Customization And Solid Predictions
Apple’s iOS 8 operating system unlocks a key system component, providing access to the software keyboard slot to third-party developers. Fleksy announced that it will launch today along with iOS 8. Fleksy’s keyboard for iOS 8 furthers the work the company has already done in its own dedicated app, and in its SDK for third-party developers, who previously could build the software into their own titles on a case-by-case basis. First IPhone 6 Drop Tests Show Mixed Results

The new smartphones have been on sale less than 24 hours and the first wave of drop test videos are already making the rounds. The results are somewhat varied, but there are predictably tragic endings for some displays. Read More

Verizon Will Be Getting IPhone 6-Friendly WiFi Calling In 2015
A quick update for those trying to figure out which carriers will/won’t support the iPhone 6’s WiFi calling feature any time soon: T-Mobile is a go. AT&T will get it in 2015. Los Angeles IPad Rollout For Schools Slowed By Technical Challenges: Report
An independent report has found that an ambitious $1.3 billion program to provide an iPad or other device to every Los Angeles public school student has been slowed by technical challenges, with curriculum that was supposed to be built into the technology often incomplete. But the rollout encountered problems, including students bypassing security measures to access prohibited content.
